About Kai Sairanen
I started photographing in earnest in my twenties after I had decided to change careers from science to journalism. After traveling and doing photojournalism about 6 years, I returned to Finland to start a beauty magazine called Essence. In my forties and fifties I was running an advertising company until I came back to do personal photojounalistic projects as I am still doing. This website is my photographic journal, an online picture book and celebration of humanity and nature seen through my camera.
